A Fox Ate My Favourite Knickers (Existential Everythings)
Video Released 27th August
Musings based on a true story. Thinking about the interconnected entanglement of everything, everyone, everybit.
a fox ate my favourite knickers
and it really got me thinking
architecture and material layers of that little creature
what drew you so to my bright blue undies
rigid soft and clothed
did you think that they would suit you?
life spills beyond bodies
it is computational, organic
the bare bones of existence
we are assemblages of assembled computers
the very material of the thing
living software at every scale
it is unimaginable and yet
me and little fox
we exist together in vast networks neither organism can fathom
us messy lumps of partly-organised everythings
a fox ate my favourite knickers and it got me existential
oh sweet human emotion
about the entangled sociability of life
knitted together across time space and body
because sometimes a fox will eat your favourite knickers
oh sweet tasty treat
and one must give way to the way of things
something bigger than our vast intimate ecologies is afoot
and now me and little fox are forever entangled
we overlap
living in shared communion
we are nested
beyond the intrigue of my favourite knickers
which now slide down my left hip
heart rush on a busy evening
messy lumps of intricate things
don’t forget your references
your loves
hold them tight on these warm summer nights
illustration vs understanding
work through the thing
intensify the tensions
you are
opacity as tactic
the human nonhuman binary
elephant in the room
fox on the bed
knickers in the bin
last night i had a dream
and i was in it
and you were in it with me
the end
